Administrative & Public Law

We have a track record of fighting for clients in their battles against the State and its many agencies in order to enforce their rights or redress wrongs committed against them. We have a record of working speedily to put together teams of experts and external counsel to ensure that our clients’ objectives are met.

Our experience of pursuing our clients’ rights under the Human Rights Act, immigration laws and in relation to the abuse of State powers, includes the following:

Acting for an individual in one of the longest-running and most serious US extradition requests. The gravity of allegations against our client (which he strenuously denies) have demanded sustained and thorough representation at each stage of the proceedings.

We represented an individual who had been harmed by and was seeking recourse against the UK government for acts arising from an abuse of power in its pursuit of alleged national security interests.

Assisting a surviving family member seeking recognition of the wrongs committed by the UK government (in breach of UN resolutions) through its aerial bombing of targets in Iraq under the ‘no fly zone’ during a period of sanctions against Iraq. We are helping our client decide on the most appropriate forum before which to bring attention to this tragedy.
